Alive & Well 03:39
These distractions.. they can make you lose your mind when you're up to what you know you shouldn't do. It's easy to find yourself in nothing but a joke. Now at it I'd laugh, and for myself id keep a smile this time around. I'm gonna make it through these hills alive and well, we're gonna make it through these hills alive and well.

So Long 03:57
I set my porcelain effects, a portion of them behind me. I gather all of my regrets, and push them into the street. I burned my money for a chance to remember a day when a silo in the distance was again my view from a window, sitting silent in the hills. So long, say I Was wishing curses on the hard bitter wind that blew all the birds down again, fortunately I will follow your quiet cry. So long say I, so long say I Sealed up all the leaks that drip above my bed in hopes that the next man doesn't have to think again about the drain leaking water from the man upstairs who showers every time you give a damn about sleeping in. I walked a hundred feet and then a hundred miles. Then and only then did I stop to sit a while and breathe something real, not that foggy shit we see in the city we forgot.

Tiny Cars 03:23
Look at these tiny cars. Lock 'em up lock 'em up. Hammer to the window, keys to the door, come one, come all. I've gone belly up belly up belly up belly up Now you've gone and fucked up my day, you've wasted my time. Now it's only tick tock tick till I blow, tick tock tick till I blow But would you look at these tiny cars? It wasn't a mother or a father, a lover or a friend.. it was this stupid little toy. These things break every day. These things break.

Old Vincent 03:11
Pick a color, name it rose drop a seed, and there it grows. His favorite it was until one day on top of that rose he laid. Dirty thorns bit into his skin and woke him up to that bottle of gin. He worked all day to set it up right, but on his knees he wept all night. Who's that walkin up the road I see, is it you, is it you? Whisper not for I cannot speak to you. The next morning he finds a bag full of the seeds he wished he had. The second time around he knows he ought to take good care of this rose. Feed it water, give it light toss that bottle, get rid of your knife. Watch it grow into the land while you shake old Vincent's hand. Hello Vincent, it's been a long time, weeks and years and dollars and dimes. But we pushed off too long I'd say, like a Christmas tree up until April or May. Sorry about ignoring you, sorry for the things that I let you do. But it's okay, I'm here again. Good to see you my old friend. Who's that walkin up the road I see, is it you, is it you? Whisper not for I cannot speak to you.

13 03:37
Only silence causes more confusion than too many words, causes only an allusion to what I may have heard.
6.
You long for the end of the morning sun. You've run in circles again. And the little black spider on the tip of your finger, that little back stabber's gonna sit there and linger again, again.. The rain is often the rest. And the soaked up yarn wraps tighter and tighter, but the fringes warm from the flame of your lighter again, again.. You long for the end of the morning sun.
7.
Your talk is all the same.. it's all the same.

Tire Garden 03:19
I see these hilltop towers, and vagabond trains running out of track. Tameless lips bare carnivore teeth, and peach fuzz stubble grows weathered and long. And I've never felt so small. I can hear your words, your faith in god.. but I can tell that you believe my doubt. I guess all I'm saying is if I can't explain the sublime then I'm in no place to know why I'm here to see it. The garden in the tire is gone and rotten, the garden in the tire is gone. The fallen seeds along the valley are calling calling out to be sown. Still i hear your words, but your faith is in what? Now, I can see that you find it beautiful not to know but to question.. to feel defeat in reason so to open your mind. The garden in the tire is gone and rotten, the garden in the tire is gone. The fallen seeds along the valley are calling, calling out to be sown. Ohh now how is it I can feel everything around me but I can't tell you what it means? Everything around me, I cannot tell you what it means.

Costume 04:52
She wears a costume every Thursday.. it's your busiest day, about time to rest. Your hair is wet a warm rain fights the window, and face paint stains your sheets. So lift your brow, I'll save a seat for you. It looks as though you could use someone to help bury the need to hide your skin. You wrapped your favorite wool scarf so tightly round his eyes and though hes already warm, he don't mind the smell. A jagged edged pendant parades at the top of his table, but this is nothing you'd ever wear. So open your gate but keep in mind you've got a plastic fence that I once was inside. The flowers in your tree walk circles around my memory, but I could never steal them all.

Marionette 04:38
He stood beside the pole, all rusty and brown. The only light in town is a taxi or a train. But there no rails, no ticket holders waiting on vacation dancing with their bags in hand. The alleys are anxious. The light is burning hot. Street steam is screaming like an angry pot of tea. He crosses the road, I admire my filthy shoes and look up to witness the rogue light swallow him whole. Cold sweat and tears are soaking my collar making the wind feel sharper, but no blood's gotten on my hands. There was no taxi, there was no train. Tonight was scripted but the pages were burned as I turned my back. He was only waiting.. Ohh,the unholy way we say nothing.
11.
Deep inside the forest hides a burden to our land. Some say it's high, mighty, and righteous.. everyone’s got their own plan. Danger in the hills, danger. Distant is the fire it grew with it’s name, curses and praises are causes for hatred. Everyone’s come to scream their names, nobles and peasants, healers and patients. Danger in the hills, danger. The circle we’re sitting in grows with time, hands joined, plans tied. Hungry and tired we're left by ourselves, our money lay wasted in the pockets of another. Everything sells.. so let’s scream our name, lets scream our name. Cool off, my friend it’s not the end. We will all return to the land.
